Jim Caltrider joined TrendSource as President and CEO in June of
2011. His previous experience includes a range of executive general management and operations
positions in technology and professional services firms, as well as faculty appointments at the University
of San Diego School of Business and UCSD School of Engineering (adjunct). His professional
accomplishments have yielded impressive financial performance, technology introductions, growth, and
development for the organizations he has served. With a PhD in Mineral Economics and focus on
Operations Research, Jim provides a research-based approach to TrendSource’s operation as well as
those of our clients.
Jana De Anda
VP of Business Development, Trusted Insight
Jana joined TrendSource in 2003 and has since been involved in all aspects of business operations. In her initial role in Field Services, she supported Field Agents for TrendSource in accurate and complete execution of contracted work. She later transitioned into Client Services where she managed relationships with Fortune 500 companies to support design, development, and implementation of their research projects. In 2011, after taking on the role of the Executive of Operations, she was responsible for ensuring operational excellence and strategic development for TrendSource with a heavy focus on industry understanding. Now as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, her experience allows her to provide a unique perspective to support development of solutions to client objectives. Jana has a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego.
Chris has been with TrendSource for the last 18 years, overseeing the design and development of the entire organization’s technological infrastructure. He has worked in IT for over 20 years in various capacities such as IS Manager, Database Developer, CAD Manager, Software Developer, etc. Through this diverse experience, Chris has developed an exceptional global view of what’s possible in technology and is always looking to what is next.
VP of Insights, Trusted Insight
As Vice President of Insights, Corey provides strategic leadership to the Insights Department with a focus on developing TrendSource’s ability to understand clients’ needs, analyze challenges, and identify solutions to real world problems. Since 2003, Corey has been dedicated to delivering value by designing and executing programs for clients that drive business results. He excels in integrating qualitative and qualitative methodologies to design customized solutions that improve customer experience, drive customer satisfaction, and increase customer loyalty. He is passionate about the intersection of the art and science in market research and building lasting relationships. Corey has a Master's of Science in Executive Leadership degree from the University of San Diego.
Director, OnSite Inspections
Victoria joined TrendSource in March of 2010 as part of the Vision Compliance acquisition from American Title, Inc. With over nine years of experience, Victoria has been an integral part of TrendSource’s success with this service, helping expand our Physical OnSite Inspection capabilities to six additional industries including Property Condition Reports for lending institutions, I-9 Verifications for remote employees, and FHA HUD Compliance Inspections for mortgage companies. As the Director of TrendSource OnSite Inspections, she specializes in compliance and brings unparalleled experience in executing Physical OnSite Inspections as part of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB), and the Dodd-Frank Act. Victoria and her team are dedicated to providing exemplary customer service, always striving to cultivate enduring relationships. Victoria is also known for her positive attitude and has an infectious habit of bringing out positivity in others.
Kyle came to TrendSource in 2015 to serve as Controller. He started his career in the assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has since spent his time working with local San Diego businesses. He is a licensed CPA and earned his B.S. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. At TrendSource he is passionate about technological integration and process design to develop more efficient financial operations.
Jacquie began working with TrendSource in 2005 and, after a three-year absence to complete her degree, returned in 2011 to lead its Human Resources Department. There, she passionately works to bring quality HR services to TrendSource’s most valuable resource, its employees. She actively recruits, onboards, trains, and helps develop, while also implementing HR policies and best practices to mitigate risk and ensure a harmonious and efficient workspace. Holding a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Organizational Development, she is PHR and SHRM-CP certified.
Patrice joined TrendSource in 2007 as an Account Specialist and quickly became a Senior Account Specialist, gaining experience in both client management and internal systems. In 2011, she took on the role of Field Services Manager, focusing on employee development, efficiency gains, and quality execution for her department. In early 2016, Patrice was instrumental in establishing TrendSource’s Organizational Development department where she brings her passion for servant leadership and strong training programs to provide support to all areas of the organization. Patrice has a Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in Intercultural Communication from Arizona State University.
Jessica joined the TrendSource Field Services department in 2012, working directly with Field Agents to execute quality data collection for TrendSource clients. She quickly became an Associate Manager, where she led a team devoted to accurate and timely data collection. In January 2016, she took on a new role as Field Execution Manager where she provides leadership and strategic development in all areas of field operations. With a degree from the University of Arizona in Retailing and Consumer Sciences, Jessica is dedicated to and passionate about innovation and efficiency in execution to deliver excellence to TrendSource clients.
Director of Client & Consulting Services
Evencia brings nearly two decades of experience in business development, brand management, and marketing in both retail and CPG. Evencia joined the TrendSource Business Development Team in 2013. During her tenure she has spearheaded market research programs that deliver valuable and actionable insights for companies within the retail, CPG, healthcare, and finance sectors. Prior to joining TrendSource, Evencia co-founded Sesh, Inc., a SAAS company that caters to ecommerce. Sesh brought forth the first co-browsing SAAS, catapulting the customer experience to the next level from both the customer service and online shopping satisfaction perspectives, which ultimately leads to strong customer loyalty. Drawing from her rich background, Evencia takes a consultative approach with her clients to ensure they reach their objectives.

Rodney has been with TrendSource for over 20 years in the successive roles of Co-founder, President, CEO, and now as Executive Chairman of the Board. Rodney attributes TrendSource’s enduring nature to a deep commitment to value creation, and this commitment manifests itself everyday as Trusted Insight to our clients, opportunity and a shared future for our associates, and growth in shareholder value. Rodney describes the TrendSource culture as one of continual change for the better, constantly evolving to maintain a bright and sustainable future.
Ann currently serves as Director at TrendSource as well as Management Representative for the ISO Certification process. She joined the TrendSource team in 1994 as Sales Manager and has played a critical role in the company's expansion, assuming successive roles of Operations Manager, Executive Manager of Account Teams, and Executive Manager of Sales. She began her professional career as Sales Manager for Embassy Suites in Denver, CO, and later Westgate Hotels in San Diego, CA, where she coordinated corporate conventions and meetings for several Fortune 500 and 100 companies. Ann has worn many hats at TrendSource and still does, continually contributing to the company's development and growth.
CEO/President of WD-40
Gary Ridge currently serves as president and CEO of the WD-40 Company and has been with WD-40 since 1987 in various management positions including Executive Vice President/COO and Vice President of International. A native of Australia, Gary has served as National Vice President of the Australian Marketing Institute and the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego where he received his MBA, teaching leadership development, talent management, and succession planning in the Master of Science in Executive Leadership program. Gary has received several awards and honors for his work including Director of the Year for Enhancement of Economic Value by the Corporate Directors Forum, the Arthur E Hughes Career Achievement Award from the University of San Diego, and the Ernst & Young Master Entrepreneur Award. In 2009, Gary co-authored a book with Ken Blanchard titled, Helping People Win at Work: A Business Philosophy called “Don’t Mark My Paper, Help Me Get an A".
Sr. Director, Organizational Performance & Development
In addition to his service on the TrendSource Board, Jeff Lindeman, SHRM-SCP, is the human resource leader for the WD-40 Company’s trading block responsible for operations in EIMEA. Based in London, he serves the needs of the trading block’s tribe members who are sustaining the WD-40 economy by making positive lasting memories throughout Europe, India, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously, he has held human resource leadership positions within the airport industry and with global retail firms. Jeff was a founding member and past chair of the Airports Council International-North America Human Resources Committee, a committee within the global airport industry trade association. In addition, he served as a panel member of the National Academies’ Airport Cooperative Research Program’s study on the supply and demand of the workforce available to U.S. airports. Jeff also served as a president of the San Diego chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (San Diego SHRM) and currently serves on the SHRM Certification Commission, the governance body responsible for technical oversight of the professional certifications offered by SHRM to HR professionals around the globe. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership, and expects to earn a Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA), specializing in leadership.
Daniel C. Barnett
CEO/Owner of Primavera Company
Dan has headed companies for some of the world's leading corporations including Nestlé, Pillsbury, Weyerhaeuser, and Constellation Brands. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Vistage International, the world’s leading CEO membership organization. Dan is currently CEO and owner of The Primavera Company, a small real estate and natural gas company with operations in three states. As a recognized expert on business, Dan has appeared regularly on CNBC's "Squawk Box", Bloomberg, and the Wall Street Journal to speak on CEO confidence and leadership. He is also recognized internationally as a speaker and consultant, being named “U.S. Speaker of the Year” by TEC Canada and presented the “Fast Track” award by Vistage International.
Co-Founder, One Over Zero
Steve has over 15 years of business development, technology marketing, and engineering experience in the mobile industry. Currently he is working on an enterprise software startup and advising other tech entrepreneurs in their growth strategies. Recently he has led Mobile Business Development at Dropbox, and spent over 10 years at Qualcomm as a Senior Director of Business Development and Technical Marketing. He works closely with engineering, product managers, and marketing teams to define product requirements, create go-to-market plans, and develop new business opportunities. He also works extensively with mobile device manufacturers, OS providers, apps developers, and operators in the US, Asia, and Europe. Steve started his career as a design engineer of the Sony PlayStation. He received his MBA from the Wharton School, MSEE from Stanford University, and BSEE from the University of Michigan. He also holds a JD, specializing in Intellectual Property from the University of San Diego.
